Tucked into the canopy in Catherineberg, St. John, Valhalla is a whole-house estate beside the wilderness of Virgin Islands National Park. It is built for a large family gathering or a group that wants the house to itself. From the terraces you look down into Cinnamon Bay and out across the water toward Jost Van Dyke. When you book Valhalla, the entire estate is yours.
The villa sits in the trees, not on the sand. The North Shore beaches are a short drive below the house.
🛌 The Accommodations
- Five King Suites: Cinnamon, Maho, Hawks Nest, Frances, and Trunk Bay. Each is air-conditioned, with its own bathroom.
- Stone Bunk Room: A lower-level stone room with built-in bunk alcoves, for the kids and teens.
- Sleeps 16: The house sleeps 16. It fits best for 10 to 14, so the shared rooms stay comfortable.
- Baby Gear: Cribs, highchairs, and a stroller are not stocked. Ask us before you book if you need them.
🏊 The Pools & Terraces
- Two Pools: An upper pool with an infinity edge toward the water, and a lower pool.
- Water Slide: A slide connects the upper pool to the lower pool. Both pools are private to your group.
- Hot Tub: On the house, looking over the sound.
- Pool Safety: The pools sit in the stone terraces. They are not separately fenced. Ask us about child safety for your group before you book.
🍽️ Chef’s Kitchen & Dining
- Viking & SKS Kitchen: A professional kitchen with Viking and SKS appliances.
- Indoor Dining: A round table seats 10 beside a stone fireplace.
- Terrace Dining: An outdoor kitchen and a terrace table that seats 10.
- Private Chef: Not included in the lodging rate. Ask when you send dates if you want one.
💻 Remote Work Office
- Dedicated Office: A quiet, air-conditioned office, separate from the main living rooms.
