Galápagos private travel — a yacht or a house

Most pages that rank for this phrase are selling a boat. That is one trip. The other is a whole house on Santa Cruz. CTC takes both inquiries: Infinity for a private charter, GPS Villa for a land week. Same Puerto Ayora family. Two different weeks.

Send dates and headcount. We take it to the family. They confirm the boat or the house. This page is not a rate card and not a booking.

Infinity — the private yacht inquiry

Infinity is a Galápagos motor yacht. Public specs list twenty guests, ten cabins, private balconies, and interconnecting rooms for families. Park rules still set the route. What you buy is the whole boat for your group — not a cabin next to strangers.

The same family that operates GPS Villa owns Infinity. CTC does not run the yacht. We take the inquiry. They confirm. Never call the boat GPS Villa.

GPS Villa — the land-based private week

GPS Villa is the four-bedroom waterfront house in Puerto Ayora. Sleeps nine. Heated jacuzzi, sea kayak, a kitchen, one table for the whole group. A land week near the pier. Details live on the Puerto Ayora family villas page.

Which trip is yours

Choose Infinity when you need remote sites — Fernandina, Genovesa, flightless cormorants — or only a few days and everyone should sleep on one boat. Choose GPS Villa when the group needs naps, snacks, and a house to come back to. Kids under twelve usually do better on land. Some families do a short charter, then a few nights in the house.

What a charter does not include

The boat quote is the boat. Mainland flights, the park fee, the transit card, and drinks sit on top. Cruise cabin vs a whole-boat charter is a different question from yacht vs house. Read that if you are still comparing a shared ship.

How to ask

Form on this page, or write ctc@ctcstays.com. Say Infinity, GPS Villa, or both. Give dates and how many people. We write you after the family answers. The Galápagos family guide covers packing and pacing once the week is real.

Frequently asked questions

What does Galápagos private travel mean?

Two different trips. A private yacht charter is a whole boat on a park-assigned route. Land-based private travel is a whole house on Santa Cruz. CTC takes both inquiries: Infinity for the boat, GPS Villa for the house.

What is Infinity?

Infinity is a Galápagos motor yacht. Public specs list twenty guests in ten cabins, each with a private balcony, and interconnecting cabins for families. The same Puerto Ayora family that operates GPS Villa owns the yacht. CTC takes the inquiry. They confirm the boat. We do not publish a rate and there is no Book button.

Does CTC operate or own Infinity?

No. CTC refers the inquiry. The local family confirms dates and the vessel. Never call Infinity GPS Villa. Never treat GPS Villa as a yacht.

When is a private Infinity charter the right trip?

When the group wants everyone on one boat, remote visitor sites a day boat cannot reach, or only four or five days in the islands. Park rules still set the route. A charter changes who you share the boat with, not whether you can wander the archipelago.

When is GPS Villa the better private trip?

When the group wants a land week: naps, a kitchen, a jacuzzi, and the pier nearby. GPS Villa is a four-bedroom waterfront house in Puerto Ayora that sleeps nine. Kids under twelve usually do better on land.

Can we do both — Infinity and GPS Villa?

Yes. Some groups take a short charter, then a few nights in the house. Send both windows. We take it to the family as one conversation.

How many people does Infinity sleep?

Published capacity is twenty guests in ten cabins. Cabin layout matters more than the raw number, especially with children. Do not fill every bunk just because the boat is rated for it.

How do we request dates?

Use the form on this page, or email ctc@ctcstays.com with dates, headcount, and whether you want Infinity, GPS Villa, or both. A request is not a reservation.

Is this a published price or a booking?

No. Charter numbers move with dates and how full the boat is. CTC does not list a rate. The family quotes after they see your window.
