Yes. Gated Dorado Del Mar is where our family stays on the island. We host Villa Coral inside that gate: our forever home, four bedrooms, a private saltwater pool, about thirty minutes from San Juan’s airport. Just outside the gate is the town of Dorado — the plaza, pharmacies, the restaurants we actually go to. Island headlines are usually about San Juan. They are not about this street. Families, friend groups, and bachelorette weekends choose this house for the privacy, and because it sits well outside the busy San Juan metro.

Chris, Tamara, and the girls are here often — cousins at the table, kids in the playroom, grown-ups in the patio chairs. It sleeps twelve.

Inside the gate

Dorado Del Mar has a manned gate, neighborhood streets, paths to two calm, protected beaches, and a playground five minutes on foot. Villa Coral is on one of those streets.

Direct bookings include the 6-seater GEM car, registered for Dorado Del Mar and the street — beach paths, grocery runs, kids piled in. We offer it at a low rate for our Airbnb guests so they can enjoy the same freedom and fun the GEM gives our family.

The backyard is a private saltwater pool with a baja shelf and a hot tub. We provide a number of pool toys for the little ones, and we are always adding new items. The on-island manager is a text away.

The town, and San Juan

Dorado town is a few minutes outside the gate. We run errands there during the day. San Juan is about thirty minutes east. If we go in for a night, we arrange an Uber in advance.

The CTC Standard

Every CTC home is scored in person against the same 100-point list. The score is on the listing, including what did not pass. Villa Coral’s inspection covers family safety, arrival, and how the neighborhood actually feels for a group.

Dates

If you want this house for cousins and grandparents, a bachelorette, or a larger friend group that wants privacy away from San Juan, request dates at Villa Coral. We’ll send the same notes we use when we go.
